Responsibilities: 

  • Lead successful implementations and projects, meeting timelines and budget requirements 
  • Ensure each project is implemented within contractual obligations and regulatory requirements 
  • Actively participate in online meetings and conference calls to orientate new clients, present new functionality, perform training, and collaborate with clients 
  • Assess/evaluate client requirements against scope of project 
  • Responsible for scope management, change management, estimating impacts of scope change (timeline and cost) as well as managing project resources 
  • Coordinates and prioritizes project tasks, manages timelines and communicates status to leadership and to those impacted by project 
  • Generate and update documentation, which may include project schedules, project plans, benchmark metrics, communication documents, etc 
  • Assist team in updating deliverables as required with new functionality roll-outs 
  • Document instructions for successful transition to the projects to the production support teams 
  • Create and document best practices 
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through follow-up, responsiveness. and thorough communication 
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects/tasks simultaneously 
  • Ensure that teams are employing principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility 
  • Facilitate productivity by ensuring that teams have the appropriate tools to succeed, escalating as needed 
  • Work with Product Management team to assist in creating and refining user stories, maintaining the product backlog, prioritization of defects, coordination of backlog estimation 
  • Motivate the team and keep them excited to move forward 
  • Investigate, analyze, and make recommendations to management regarding technology improvements, upgrades, and modifications 
  • Actively work with individuals involved on projects to ensure functional and technical design specifications meet or exceed expectations, and serves to recognize potential design gaps 

Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Must have excellent client management skills in order to create and maintain positive relations 
  • Must possess leadership skills and subject matter expertise 
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to work with all levels of the organization (leadership, sales, analysts, development, QA, finance, operations, etc.) 
  • Ability to work with a team and as an individual contributor 
  • Ability to proactively detect potential issues and risks, along with implementing solutions when issues threaten to delay the timeline or impact budget or business operations 
  • Must possess initiative to identify areas in need of improvement and take action 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 

Requirements

  •  Bachelor's degree (B.A.) required, Master’s degree preferred 
  • PMP preferred 
  • Merchant Services experience desired 
  • 5 years of professional experience in Healthcare, Insurance and/or Financial Services 
  • Strong knowledge of PM industry practices and performance measurements 
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and follow through on completion of complex, high-profile projects 
  • Detail oriented with aptitude to implement quality controls throughout work processes 
  • Ability to work well with minimal direction 
  • Demonstrated problem solving, decision making, and leadership skills 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, and Visio) 
  • Strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills 
  • Ability to travel 10-25%
