Paul Mammola Salon and Spa is Hiring a Salon Receptionist Near Lexington, MA

At Paul Mammola Salon, we been in Lexington over 50 years. We believe the receptionists are the backbone and heartbeat of the salon. Therefore, we expect all clients' needs to be met in a friendly and professional manner. We are looking for an enthusiastic and a team player individual to join our staff and fill this role. We are a hair, nails, facials, spa and lashes salon.

As a receptionist at Paul Mammola Salon and Spa your daily tasks will include but not limited:

-Must be a team player. Working at the front desk requires the ability to communicate properly and thoroughly between the manager and the rest of the team. Able to direct traffic flow.

-We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and eager to support the salon in its daily functioning. Also, someone who is very adaptable to the changing needs and demands of the day to day functioning of the salon.

-Having a strong sales skill set is necessary-the ability to inform clientele on our various product lines and assist with their product needs is a constant.

-Knowledge of social media platforms ( FaceBook, Instagram and, Google) able to post, create posts and create print outs

-Operations functions: opening and closing the store, cash register, and balancing the draw.

-Manage the selling floor and salon floor increasing client retention and maximize appointment bookings

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 1-2 years of retail or sales experience
  • Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance
  • Enthusiastic Personality
  • Self-motivate , Team player and Multi-task well
  • Must be familiar with MS, Excel and creating flyers, Google Drive
  • Able to create content for social medias
  • Have 2 years experience as a receptionist

If in the beauty industry is a plus.
