Position Summary
Paul Davis Restoration, Inc. is a national franchise organization that provides property damage emergency services, restoration and reconstruction services for residential and commercial properties due to water, fire, mold, storm and other disasters. The Paul Davis Company Owned operation is governed by the following rules:
1. This is a 24/7 Operation. Everyone is on call.
2. Mitigation claims are acknowledged and responded to same day.
3. Use PDO Quality Assurance for peer review and budget approval.
4. Every reconstruction assignment must begin within 10 days of approval.
5. Everyone follows the Success Equation.
The Project Director is the first interaction with the customer after a loss and is responsible for interacting with the customer in a courteous and professional manner. The Project Director is responsible for selling all three verticals of mitigation, contents and reconstruction, as applicable.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
• First interaction with Customer in site
• Responsible for acknowledgement of arrival and compliance with Carrier Service levels
• Collects 3D scans on the project for exterior and interior repairs
• Scopes losses
• Discusses repairs with the customer and obtains work authorization/contract
• Provide scope and 3D handoff to estimating team depending on severity of the loss
• Maintain customer satisfaction, as determined by completed satisfaction surveys.
• Update Systems
• Responsibility for adhering to the PDO Health & Safety Program.
• Participate in local company efforts to be the “expert” in the industry.
• Maintain contact/relationships with key customers
• Seek alliances to improve performance.
• Support staff in key client situations and events.
• Meet or exceed compliance to Carrier Program Service Level Agreements.
• Meet or exceed property owner expectations for communication and service.
• Meet and maintain Net Promoter Score minimum monthly average of 70.
• Collect Accounts Receivable
• All other duties as assigned
Competency – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Knowledge of our main operating systems; RMS, Xactimate and Symbility

• Ability to answer and communicate with customers over the phone and face to face

Required Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience
• Two plus years’ experience in restoration or construction as an Estimator or in Business Development
Preferred Education and Experience• Industry certifications (IICRC and Lead)
• Experience as a Construction Superintendant or Project Manager
Physical Requirement
• Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
• The person in this position needs to frequently move about a customer job site (indoors and outdoors)
• Occasionally ascends and descends a ladder to service customer sites
• Constantly positions self to move about job sites
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Occasionally operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, fax machine, copy machine, and computer printer.
• Must be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documents
• Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone and face to face
• Occasionally will lift up to 60lbs
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
Work Environment
The employee will be working indoors and outdoors. The employee will be exposed to air conditioning and heat. The employees will be exposed to normal noises throughout the office. The employee will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
Travel
This position will require up to 80% local travel to jobs sites (as needed).
