Pathways to Community is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Saint Paul, MN

Located throughout the Twin Cities Metro, Pathways to Community is a human services provider offering family and residential services to youth and adults with developmental disabilities. From comprehensive and required training to our servant-leadership culture, Pathways realizes our employee’s success leads to higher quality of care for our Individuals. The primary purpose of the position is to provide entry level support to the human resources department.

Recruiter/Trainer Responsibilities

Responsibilities include resume screening, interviewing candidates over the phone and in person, following up with candidates, and conducting various trainings. Strong computer skills required, as well as sensitivity to confidential matters. This position also calls for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, detail orientation, great time management skills and the ability to work and communicate well with others. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Locate, read, and understand PTC policies, procedures, and forms
  • Conduct interviews
  • Recruit and hire employees weekly
  • Help develop and execute HR processes effectively
  • In-house training
  • New Hire Orientations
  • Various recruiting events

Recruiter/Trainer Qualifications

  • The preferred candidate will have at least 1 year of prior recruiting and/or training experience.
  • Competencies: Problem solving skills, critical thinking skills, ability to analyze information, detailed oriented, time management, interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Minimum: Excellent communication skills with strong ability to execute in accordance to protocol. Ideal candidate will have demonstrated character, desire, skills, ability, and passion to work in difficult and demanding environments. Proficient in the use of computers, email, and software applications.

Compensation: based on experience.

Primary hours would be Monday – Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
