Steele Hill Resorts is looking for a key, entry-level manager in the busy off-site marketing department. The company is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated and dependable individual to serve as assistant to our Manager of Off-site Promotions and act as the department’s 2nd in charge.

• Hiring, training, disciplining & developing promotions staff members.
• Participate in the development of new venue relationships.
• Participate in the development of new training and operating methods.
• Scheduling staff members for events.
• Interfacing with venue staff.
• Ensuring successful setup and performance of promotion efforts at events.
• Purchasing, organizing and accounting for promotions equipment.
• Directly engage in off-site promotions work.
• Communications with partner contacts.
• Communications with the general public.
• Promoter payroll administration.
• Expense processing.
• 80% travel and weekends are required.

Requirements

• 2 years’ experience in off-site marketing promotions or similar field preferred, but willing to train the right individual.
• Must have reliable transportation.
