Role Details

Partner/Department: IT
Contract Duration: Permanent
Position type and schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday plus occasional weekend on call
Training Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8 am to 5 pm MST
Work type and Location: Onsite in Boise
Expected start date: ASAP

About The Role

Do you love technology and can't hide it? PartnerHero is looking for an IT Support Specialist to support our Boise, Idaho hub. This role is responsible for supporting PartnerHero associates on a day-to-day basis with computer hardware and software problems, cloud platform issues, and other IT-related issues. This role is also responsible for facilitating access to PartnerHero platforms and performing computer setups and maintenance for new and existing associates. As a PartnerHero employee, you’ll have the support you need to develop and grow your career. 

You'll Be...

  • Monitoring PartnerHero's IT help center, relevant Slack channels, and responding to support requests
  • Troubleshooting problems jointly with associates in order to resolve hardware and software issues on their computers
  • Performing admin tasks within PartnerHero's cloud platforms (e.g. Google Workspace, Slack) in order to solve problems affecting associates
  • Understanding, communicating, teaching, and upholding PartnerHero's IT and information security policies
  • Performing setup, maintenance, and shipping of computers and other IT Hardware to associates within a specific region
  • Setting up and performing maintenance of in-office IT hardware (printers, monitors, conference room equipment, etc.)
  • Tracking and updating IT assets within PartnerHero's asset management platform
  • Maintaining process and troubleshooting documentation within PartnerHero's Confluence wiki, for increased team knowledge
  • Educating associates on best practices for supported PartnerHero apps
  • Participating in incident response (both IT and security) as needed
  • Other projects and tasks are assigned by regional or global IT managers

What You Bring To The Table

  • Excellent (C2) English (spoken and written)
  • 1 year of experience in information technology or technical support
  • Knowledge of computer hardware/OS maintenance and management, including Windows and macOS
  • Excellent hardware and software troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, etc.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop support tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience supporting users via chat and video conferencing tools
  • Excellent customer service mentality and willingness to work and communicate within a globally distributed IT team
  • Proactive and solution-seeking personality
