Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our Parry Labs team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert-level information systems security engineering support for the development, implementation, and maintenance of security controls for a variety of systems and networks.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and prioritize security vulnerabilities
• Develop and implement security controls to mitigate identified risks
• Conduct security testing and evaluation of systems and networks
• Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the security team
• Stay current with new security technologies and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in information systems security engineering
• Strong understanding of security standards and guidelines such as NIST, RMF, and ISO
• Experience with Linux, VxWorks and Windows Operating Systems
• Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Podman
• Experience with security technology such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 8 years of experience in information systems security engineering
• Hold a DoD 8570 compliant certification such as Security , CISSP or CEH
• Knowledge in Palo Alto network management tools
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Coverity
• Experience with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit and Burpsuite
• Previous coding and/or scripting with any language such as Java, C , C , Python
• Current and Active Secret/Top Secret Security Clearance
