Overview of the Role

ParkMobile is looking for a Director of Product Design to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of design solutions across our B2B2C ecosystem of digital products. You will be responsible for building and leading a team of product designers to execute our product roadmap and level up our experiences, while evolving and maturing our design practices. Reporting to our Head of Product, you will work collaboratively with peers in Product and Engineering in an agile environment to foster a user-centered, data and research-driven design culture across the company. 

What You’ll Do

• Build, mentor, and lead a world-class team of designers while creating and evolving the ideal organizational design
• Partner with your global counterparts to unite product design teams under the EasyPark Group, coalescing around shared culture, practices, and tools
• Maintain and expand on standards, practices and processes deliver as a best-in-class user experience across all customer segments and channels
• Serve as an accessibility champion for the business and our products, ensuring our consumer experiences are WCAG 2.1 AA compliant

• Spearhead a strong user research and usability testing practice that uses a range of qualitative and quantitative data to inform product and user experience strategy
• Mature our design system to ensure quality and consistency of experience across our various applications and platforms
• Ensure your team is set up for success in their squads to plan and execute against outcomes while exploring innovation
• Manage executive and stakeholder alignment to drive a common design vision that supports the product roadmap
• Evolve and strengthen a Design Center of Excellence for user experience and design culture that is inspiring, innovative, supportive, and growth-oriented

• Forge and maintain collaborative relationships with external partners and vendors
• Roll up your sleeves and be hands-on as needed, to move quickly and deliver business results

• You use relationship building, storytelling and persuasion to communicate vision and strategy in compelling ways across all levels of the organization
• You’ve demonstrated a deep dedication to users by investing significant time observing them work and validating ideas with them as well as using data to make decisions
• You have experience establishing design systems, and a highly refined visual design sensibility
