Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties:

  • Lead financial projects, including monthly practice and regional interpretation of financial results, analysis of investment and acquisition opportunities and the development of financial reports and dashboards
  • Collaboratively work with regional and practice management teams and other leaders to create annual financial budgets, plans and forecasts
  • Prepare executive level reports, presentations, and other support documents
  • Proactively provide financial analysis and decision support to regional and practice management teams
  • Create ad hoc financial reporting as needed, including models of various revenue and expense scenarios, data on key business drivers, etc.
  • Become a power user of the organization’s financial modeling platform (Workday Adaptive Planning) to support efficient execution of financial planning, forecasting and reporting processes
  • Become a power user of the organization’s business intelligence platform in order to be able to gather, combine and validate data from multiple sources
  • Ensure compliance with data accuracy and integrity policies, procedures and standards

Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related area of emphasis
  • 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, preparation of financial models, budgeting and forecasting
  • Understanding of financial and accounting concepts and principles, including GAAP, financial statement construction, and time value of money calculations
  • Experience with month end close and reporting

 Required Skills:

  • Ability to take ownership of financial modeling or ad hoc analysis projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills including complex financial modeling, formulas, and data transformation
  • Attention to detail, ability to review and validate work for accuracy
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate highly complex financial information to non-financial managers and team members and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and complete tasks both efficiently with a high degree of accuracy
  • Experience managing large amounts of dynamic data and creating financial or operational models that rely on dynamic data sets
  • Ability to use critical thinking, logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems and to make recommendations to business stakeholders
  • Ability to be persuasive; capable of developing and presenting a business rationale for proposed changes or actions
  • Ability to utilize a high level of discretion with sensitive or confidential information

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred
  • Data Management using SQL, Power Query or similar programs
  • Experience with or a working understanding of Lean or Six Sigma principles
  • Project management experience

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday: 8am-5pm
