To continue providing our residents with the best care we are seeking a candidate to fulfill the role of Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. The ideal candidate will guide the facility to ensure our residents experience quality care in a close-knit community, direct staff in planning and implementation for care that is directed for the best possible outcome for the resident’s and ensure the facility maintains standards that are in accordance with State/Federal regulations.

Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

We are searching for an Administrator with the following qualities and skills:

Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or nursing Facility.

Must possess a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator’s license or meet the licensure requirements of this State.

Direct the day-to-day functions of the Facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards guidelines, and regulations that govern nursing facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can always be provided to our residents

Prepare an annual operating budget for approval by the VP of Operations and allocate the resources to carry out programs and activities of the Facility.

Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.

Must be able to maintain good personnel relations and employee morale.

Must be able to read and interpret financial records, reports, etc.

Maintain an excellent working relationship with the medical profession and other health related facilities and organizations through formal working and transfer agreements.

Establish rapport in and among departments so that each can realize the importance of teamwork

Participate in state and federal surveys of the Facility.
