Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking an Appeals Collector, who will be responsible for performing follow up on all appeals submitted to the payer for timely payment and resolution. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you. We want you to apply today!

What you will do in this role:

• Pursue additional payment on appeals through various means of communication.
• Overcome objections that prevent payment of the claim.
• Gain commitment for payment through concise and factual collection techniques.
• Escalate accounts to appropriate individuals at the payer and via SSC management as needed.
• Communicate trends to management as identified.
• Utilize effective documentation standards that support a strong historical record of actions on the account.

What qualifications you will need:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1 year of related experience required, preferably in healthcare
• Relevant education may substitute experience requirement
