The Role SSE France is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Innovation Services team. This dynamic team works directly with customers to increase their productivity through customized workflows and tools, including adding proprietary tools to work with our framework, extending our products, streamlining data exchange, or collaborating in joint R&D Projects. Your Impact Perform complex analysis, design, and development tasks independently, evaluating complex information flow, interfaces, and key data structures to advance integration and implement complex application requirements. Investigate and analyze C source code from our portfolio and from third party applications or libraries. Use SDK to work on integration plans and debug complex code. Report project progress internally and in customer facing meetings. Serve as role model and knowledge source for professional software engineering practices including full software development life cycle, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Consistently deliver on projects lasting 6 to 12 months on time and to scope, meeting all customer requirements. What You'll Need BS or higher in Computer Science or equivalent 5 years’ experience in software development role C strongly required Software development experience in scientific programming required Good communication skills Experience in customer-facing role is welcome Knowledge of Java is a plus. Oil & gas industry knowledge is a plus
