- Support opening duties
- Maintain an impeccable lobby
- Take and manage reservations
- Inquire about any special occasions and requests
- Enter appropriate guest information.
- Warmly greet guests and always introduce them to the next Team Member that will assist them.
- Assist with valet
- Help Manager seat guests
- Offer suggestions/to make accommodations to guests looking for other venues to visit
- Give restaurant tours
- Support Managers as directed
- Maintain calm atmosphere at the host desk
- Enter post-dining notes.
- Warmly welcome all guests and address them by name
- Always gets the door for guests
- Save guests who don’t want to wait-offer alternatives (the bar, patio) or offer to help with a future reservation
- Maintain an accurate quote for guests on the wait list
- Ask friendly, open ended questions
- Always mimic guests’ walking pace
- Always thank guests for waiting
- Always get a manager involved whenever the guest has had anything less than an excellent experience
- Proactively manage all reservations—know who is coming before they arrive
- Always thank guests for waiting and choosing PAO
- Answer the phone within two rings
