Panoramic is Hiring an ERP Functional Analyst Near Janesville, WI

The ERP Functional Analyst will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and customizing the Global Shop Solutions ERP and supporting systems of the software. This includes, but is not limited to, installing and managing maintenance upgrades, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, generating new reports for all departments and managers, continuing training for current employees, support the training of new hires, and looking for opportunities for continual improvement. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day operations and application support, maintaining the service level with higher customer satisfaction for help desk tickets raised by the end users
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving break/fix issues, liaising with end users and technical resources
  • Identify GAP’s in the existing business process and suggests improvements
  • Perform the role of Application Architect in designing new business process and enhancement for the current environment as per business requirements
  • Responsible for the translation of business requirements and solution designs into Global shop configuration
  • Create reports, dashboards, and queries upon request for all business units, assist departments in developing custom reports
  • Take requirements and build features or enhancements that help them solve challenges and manage workflows more efficiently and managing the development of various RICE (Reports, Interface, Conversions and Extension) components
  • Help increase the utilization of the GSS module
  • Support and/or provide training for GSS ERP users
  • Provide instruction, assistance, and support to GSS ERP system end-users
  • Work with department and business leaders to create and execute procedures for software and hardware upgrades
  • Cross train on other IT functions as needed
  • Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all contacts

Required Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities

  • 3 years of experience in manufacturing and inventory management, supply chain management, advanced planning and scheduling, procurement, sourcing, and business process design
  • Strong techno functional knowledge and hands on experience in various modules of Global Shop
  • Use of applications such as Crystal, Codesoft (or other labeling software), MS Excel, MS Access, ODBC, Visio (or other mapping software) and Smartsheet are a plus
  • Knowledge of SQL, GAB, and other programming languages
  • Ability to learn and implement CAD packages such as SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, etc.
  • Familiarity with Global Shop Solutions TrueViews™
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic, and demanding environment with light supervision
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to react quickly to changing requirements due to product limitation or driven by enterprise need
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills and ability to interface with internal and external parties at all levels
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships

Education
Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent professional experience.
