Panorama Education is Hiring a Director, Talent Acquisition Near Austin, TX

About the Role:

Panorama is looking for a strategic and solutions-oriented Director, Talent Acquisition who gets results by building strong partnerships within the business and leading a highly effective team. This role reports to the Chief People Officer and will be a member of the People Leadership Team. 

A dynamic and inspiring leader, the Director, Talent Acquisition will be well versed in scaling a high performing talent acquisition team in a rapidly growing and expanding organization and will be an expert relationship builder. 

What you will do:

    • Lead the company’s talent attraction & acquisition strategy and processes with direct responsibility for a team that delivers strong recruiting results to meet business growth objectives.
    • Develop, analyze and report on trends and metrics that illustrate the health of TA processes and positively influence the outcomes of TA activities.
    • Evolve a best-in-class talent acquisition team with consideration for the current and future needs of the business, developing our employment brand, and innovating how we attract and hire talent.
    • Oversee complete lifecycle recruitment management of team including candidate sourcing and assessment, employment branding, candidate experience, standardization of recruitment policies, processes and metrics
    • Partner with key leaders across the business to continuously evolve the employee value proposition. Integrate and promote our company purpose and principles through the talent acquisition process.
    • Evaluate recruiting practices with an eye towards continuous improvement; identify opportunities to streamline and increase effectiveness
    • Lead a geographically dispersed team; provide leadership, regular feedback and coaching; identify development opportunities to stretch and grow team members.
    • Develop innovative external talent pipelines for critical and hard to find talent and skills.
    • Centralize knowledge, processes and tools where possible with a focus on optimization and quality.
    • Ensure the applicant tracking system is leveraged to its full capability and enforce consistent usage.
    • Enable best-in class recruiting experiences by building & introducing hiring tools.
    • Manage partnerships with service and tool providers to evaluate existing and future opportunities.
    • Drive engagement and partnerships with diverse organizations and networks that result in brand awareness and increase our ability to source and secure diverse talent.
    • Develop, maintain, and leverage your understanding of the industry and business.
    • Partner with compensation and benefits team members to ensure market competitive positioning.
    • Ensure that diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the center of talent acquisition programs and strategies.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • 8 years of experience in a Talent Acquisition function supporting teams in high growth companies, preferably in the technology sector
  • 4 years of experience leading an in-house Talent Acquisition team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrates an integrated perspective to understand and address people and business issues
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills as well as the ability to prioritize business requirements appropriately through a collaborative partnership approach
  • Demonstrated experience successfully developing and executing metrics-driven talent strategies 
  • Excellent people leadership skills
  • Knowledge of recruiting issues and trends, labor laws, and legislative initiatives that have implications for the business
  • Experience helping organizations scale and grow
  • Ability to anticipate the people implications of strategic and operating business decisions and plan for the future
