Where you’ll work…

Our state-of-the-industry pizza manufacturing facility located in Milwaukee’s Menomonee River Valley.

Our high-tech pizza manufacturing operations include three on-site bakeries to produce best-in-class crusts, automated robotic packaging equipment, and a 24-hour shipping and receiving facility.

When you’ll work…

Hours will predominantly be Monday through Friday during 1st shift; however, projects may require time spent on 2nd shift and 3rd shift or a few weekend days throughout the year as needed for projects.

What you’ll do…

We are currently hiring an experienced Project Engineer to help drive the technical master plan of the company on pizza manufacturing process projects to improve efficiencies, enhance productivity, and reduce cost.

Lead and manage assigned engineering projects responsible for defining scope, roles and responsibilities, cost, schedule, and risk.

Write project Capital Appropriation Requests’ (CAR’s); developing the project scope, schedule, and budget, along with savings analysis and provide alternatives.

Lead the project from concept through startup while working with internal and external customers and vendors on projects from $200k to over $1000k.

Make a difference in solving technical problems in the fast-paced pizza factory!

Why you’ll be successful…

Utilizing knowledge from your 5 years’ experience with Mechanical Engineering, Project Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering preferably within food and beverage manufacturing to design and execute high value projects involved with the pizza making equipment and manufacturing lines.

Organized and methodical approach to project management, leveraging your knowledge of construction management, working with mechanical and other 3rd party contractors, while keeping projects on time and within budget.

High emphasis on working safety including working knowledge of food safety including U.S.D.A. and hygienic design for manufacturing.

Designated lifelong learner with a strong interest in mastering new mechanical and electrical technologies.

Team player with excellent communication skills ready to work hard to ensure the whole Palermo’s team succeeds.
