Pacwest Restoration Inc is Hiring a Bookkeeper - Office Manager Near Tigard, OR

The Bookkeeper/Office Manager is responsible for multiple areas of a busy construction office. The position will include business administration as well as maintaining books, personnel files and covers a wide variety of responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
· Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable management and overseeing AP / AR support staff
· Payroll using ADP and QuickBooks including tracking employee hours in Tsheets and processing commissions and job costing.
· Set up new vendor accounts,
- Setting up sub-contractor agreements and verifying insurance 
· Payroll Tax payments and statutory filings
· Bank reconciliations
· Credit Card reconciliations
· Reconciles bank accounts, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks
· Process expense reports
· Provide administrative support
· Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
· Prepare payroll reports as necessary
· Prepare Job Cost reports for each project for final invoicing
· Onboarding and offboarding of employees, including background checks, motor vehicle records, enrolling employees in medical plans and retirement plans, and responding to Employment dept requests for unemployment verification
· Ensure payroll best practices are being established
· Ensure W-2 accuracy
Prior work experience must include:
· 3-5 years bookkeeping using QuickBooks is a must
· 3-5 years Payroll experience, ADP payroll experience preferred
· 3-5 years office administration, preferably with working HR knowledge, and some construction office experience
· QuickBooks for construction company
Proven skills must include:
· Proficient PC skills and experienced with MS Word and Excel required
· Strong administrative skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
· High energy and personal initiative
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Ability to manage office operations, bookkeeping and payroll, maintain office supplies, and personnel 
· Strong knowledge of standard accounting/bookkeeping practices
· Ability to work independently and within a team
· Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks
· Must exhibit a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
Salary $60,000 to $70,000 depending on experience and skills.
