Responsibilities

Job Description: 

The Finance Manager is instrumental in analyzing, understanding and communicating key drivers of financial performance to Commercial and Operational business partners. The successful individual will apply an advanced analytical approach with focused critical reasoning to convert raw data into insightful financial analysis with recommendations around several areas including:

• Reporting & Analysis: Provide accurate, actionable and timely financial reporting, variance analysis and KPI analytics to measure and communicate organizational performance.
• Planning: Partner with the Commercial and Operational teams on customer level monthly forecasting and annual planning requirements.
• Capital Management: Facilitate the execution of capital investment requests by providing accurate business case analyses and managing the approval process.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in areas of financial performance and reporting, workflow processes, systems, etc.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to communicate summarized results at a strategic and tactical level to both financial and non-financial oriented audiences.
• Detail oriented with the ability to drilldown to a customer and product level to develop an understanding of business drivers and profitability metrics.
• BA/BS degree with an emphasis in Finance / Accounting with 7-10 years of relevant experience, advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing cost models and new product development is a PLUS.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in an efficient and effective manner.
• Strong computer skills including significant expertise in Excel based modeling and analysis.
• Experience in the use of Essbase, HFM and SAP Business Warehouse a PLUS.
