This position is responsible for repairs of all forklifts and pallet jacks, and repairs in the facility maintaining day to day operations. This includes performing work in accordance with safety procedures and company requirements. This position will maintain forklifts and pallet jacks and building and grounds to reduce maintenance and replacement cost.

What you'll do...

• Follow pm system on all equipment
• Properly maintain forklift batteries and chargers
• Request parts and keep records of work performed
• Complete maintenance tasks asked on a timely manner
• Work safely and recognize repairs needed, do daily rounds.
• Recognize, identify, and offer solutions to potential safety /emergency issues.
• Operate large diversity of hand and power tools associated with the repair of plant equipment.
• Other maintenance/janitorial tasks may be assigned.

What we look for...

• At least 2 years maintenance experience
• Carpentry, Plumbing, light electrical, building grounds, painting
• Work independently and without supervision
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Computer skills
• Good oral and written communication skills (ability to read and write in English, as it is affected by direction and paperwork)
• Good attention to detail
• Must be able to operate equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, etc.) safely and professionally
