Marketing Intern - Summer 2024

Objectives:

We are seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to join our team and contribute to our strategic marketing initiatives. As a Marketing Intern at Alpen, you will play a key role in expanding our market reach, increasing brand awareness, and educating consumers and industry professionals about the benefits of energy-efficient building solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and curating engaging content for our social media platforms, including posts, graphics, and videos.
• Contribute to market research activities by conducting competitor analysis, gathering customer insights, and identifying industry trends.
• Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including brainstorming creative ideas for promotions and outreach.
• Draft blog articles, newsletters, and other marketing materials to showcase Alpen's value proposition.
• Utilize analytics tools like Google Analytics to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns.
• Assist with marketing administration tasks, such as updating marketing ledgers and maintaining records.

Requirements:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• Strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in marketing materials.
• Experience using social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and basic SEO principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Canva, Mailchimp, or Hootsuite is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for marketing and eagerness to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Internship Details and Timeline:

• Application Deadline: May 3, 2024
• Interviews: Week of May 6-10, 2024
• Applicant Notification: By May 17, 2024
• Start Date: June 3, 2024 (part-time, 15 to 22 hours per week)

Compensation:

The internship offers a stipend of $400 for transportation costs, for the first 30 days.

Then, one of two compensation types are available:

• If you are receiving school credit for the internship, you will continue to receive the $400 transportation stipend.
• If you are not receiving school credit, you will be paid $1500 per month.

Continuation:

The internship may continue beyond the summer based on availability of resources and intern interest/capability.
