Paceline Equity Partners, LLC is Hiring an Investor Relations Analyst Near Dallas, TX

Paceline Equity Partners (“PEP”), a Dallas-based private equity manager, is seeking an individual who is detail-oriented and has excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills to join their Investor Relations (“IR”) team. The candidate will be collaborating and working closely with the investment, legal, operations, and finance groups to ensure that there is alignment across teams and will have the ability to make independent decisions. The candidate must have the highest integrity, maintain a respect for confidentiality, demonstrate good judgment, and possess the ability to work well in a team. The IR Analyst is expected to be resourceful, credible, and a team player.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Marketing materials
    • Update and maintain presentations, one-pagers, due diligence questionnaires and other investor-related materials. Help create bespoke materials, as necessary. Ensure consistency and accuracy across the entire suite of materials
    • Facilitate distribution of investor materials, supporting both routine and ad-hoc communication needs
  • Coordinate schedules with external and internal participants along with logistics for investor conferences, meetings, and other industry-related events
  • Provide organizational, analytical, and logistical assistance for investor activities related to prospecting and pipelining (Preqin and other databases, as appropriate) 
  • Prepare deliverables for investor calls and meetings, including, but not limited to:
    • Company/personnel descriptions for client meetings (gathering critical data and account information for briefing materials)
    • PDF, watermark, and track marketing materials and offering documents
  • Develop, update, and maintain an investor relations database
    • Add contacts (historical, new or additional)
    • Add events (calls, meetings, events, etc.)
    • Update any investor notes directly within the CRM. Ensure all meeting and call notes are posted in a timely fashion
    • Assist in the tracking of prospective investor opportunities and pipeline reporting
    • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure account information is updated and verified
    • Ensure consistency and accuracy of information across all internal systems
  • Assist with the Annual Investor Meeting and other limited partner related events. Help to support material creation for these events, as needed
  • Assist with any ad-hoc requests, to include:
    • Supporting ongoing communications efforts across marketing and client services
    • Working with internal stakeholders (Finance, Legal, etc.) to field any requests

Skill Requirements and Preferences

  • Four-year college degree
  • One to three years of experience in a comparable role, preferably in a related field of financial services, investment banking, investing and/or marketing for a finance-related firm
  • Working knowledge of the financial markets and asset management, preferably with some knowledge of the private equity space
  • Excellent written and effective oral communication skills
  • An ability to make connections among different tasks and apply consistent methodologies
  • Strong organizational skills; logical thinker
  • A team player, but able to work independently with minimal oversight; exhibits appropriate discretion
  • A keen attention to detail and an ability to multitask
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Products
  • Salesforce, Clienteer, Backstop (or other CRM) experience a positive but not a requirement
  • A positive, “can-do”, and energetic attitude is a MUST!
