Overview

PACE Supply is looking for a Distribution Center Supervisor for front-line management and overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of their assigned functional unit. Day shift, must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed. 

Responsibilities

This position will supervise, coach, and mentor employees to high performance standards, including planning, scheduling, assigning, and directing work. Evaluating performance, resolving issues, and recognizing individual and team success. Managing the department from a high level, creating and implementing processes that improve more than just their department, making an impact company wide. Working strategy and vision versus trying to get through the daily operation. 

Qualifications

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• 1 year in current position at PACE Supply.• 3-5 years of warehouse experience with 2 of those years in a Floater, Lead, or Supervisory role.• Must be comfortable and willing to learn and thrive in a technology driven operation.• Possess excellent product knowledge.• Excellent written and oral communication skills.• Strong numerical and analytical skills with an attention to detail.• Manage flow of order picking, dropping orders to meet objectives and allocating appropriate resources to ensure execution.• Commitment to excellence and high standards.• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.• Proficient on MS Outlook and Excel.• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.• Must hold and maintain attendance record within company policy.• Current forklift certification.• Other duties/projects as assigned.

Leadership Qualifications:

• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a cooperative manner with team members, customers, and management.• Lead the huddles with daily goals and objectives, safety topics, open forum for input, and pre-shift stretching.• Maintains cleanliness of the overall facility to support safety standards, with an emphasis on the area assigned to the work group.• Address and monitor all safety policies are followed and addressed accordingly.• Ensure all employees are on task and productive.• Coach employees to ensure work is completed accurately.
