Overview
PACE Supply in Stockton, CA is seeking an Assistant Property Manager who is responsible for coordinating quotes, addressing facility issues in a timely manner, collecting and maintaining records, ensuring mandatory and regulatory inspections are conducted on time and any issues discovered are rectified.
Assistant Property Manager will interact with many different departments within PACE Supply and must maintain a positive can do attitude.
Responsibilities
Facility Maintenance
• Works with Branches to maintain branch appearance and consistency to a higher standard• Prioritizes facility safety issues so they are addressed timely• Reports and acts on branch maintenance issues• Holds Janitorial services accountable to ensure Branches maintained to a high standard• Follow up that services were done to expectations (Quality Control)
Management of Service Providers
• Coordinates all compliance related inspections• Identifies new Service Providers• Collect and organize quotes• Reviews quotes for accuracy in scope• Tracks work to confirm it is done as scheduled• Approves and codes vendor payments
Project Support• Assist with research projects as need• Ability to maintain confidential information• Assist in preparing budgets• Assist with drawing projects in Microsoft Visio
Administrative tasks• Handle telephone and email service requests; screening and facilitating communications as needed• Operates the Microsoft Suite of Programs• Maintains records of all services• Maintains records of all site inspections• Ensures critical inspections are completed• Create and maintain list of all preferred service providers by region• Maintain Calendar of all re-occurring inspections• Organize and maintain drawings and files electronically
Qualifications
Minimum Education
High school diploma
Minimum Work Experience and Skills
At least 2 years industry experience.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Ability to adapt and think on your feet / self starterComputer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft and Apple productsExcellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels in the organization.
Minimum Professional License
Valid Drivers licence
Ideal Education and Work Experience Skills
AA or BA in Business or related field
5 years' experience managing related commercial property (branches)
Work Environment
Ability to visit locations and related job functions. Has access to a personal vehicle to make branch visits as needed. Ability to lift up to 50lbs
