Pace Analytical Services, LLC is Hiring a Remote Business Development Specialist (Remote)

OVERVIEW

We are looking for a result driven individual to join our expanding Commercial Growth team. The Commercial Growth team focuses on business development with an understanding of our long-term market position, solutions, competitive edge, and customer problems. The team is comprised of individuals with specialties in sales and marketing who develop and execute sales initiatives and marketing campaigns. We are expanding our team by adding a dedicated Market/Business Development Specialist for our pharma central lab testing, manufacturing, and development services. This is a great role for someone who wants a work environment that allows them to develop, execute, and assess the impact of their efforts.

Note: The team is based at Pace Life Sciences headquarters in Minneapolis, MN.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and manage lead generation efforts for CDMO business line.
  • Report on lead generation and nurturing program metrics to commercial leaders
  • Partner with operational and commercial leaders to create, plan, and execute short-term marketing campaigns to meet revenue goals– including identifying the target market, email marketing, social media posts, blog posts, etc.
  • Analyze and translate data into insights to help build strategic sales initiative plans and assess the impact of marketing campaigns
  • Prospecting – support lead generation through researching prospective companies, identifying leads within accounts, and contacting/qualifying leads
  • Qualify and assign leads to the appropriate commercial team member for follow up
  • Work off a targeted list of potential prospects to develop new sales opportunities
  • Improve market segmentation and data tracking within the CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Documents all sales and lead generation activity within customer relationship management system (Salesforce)
  • Represent Pace to prospective clients within assign business line including digital communications, in-person or virtual meetings, trade shows, etc.
  • Promote teamwork within Pace and be viewed as a team player
  • Act as a life science solutions subject matter expert internally and externally supporting the success of Pace Life Sciences

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Business, or other related sciences
  • 2 years in inside sales, business development, market analyst or lead generation role
  • Experience in the life science industry preferred
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to plan, organize, and prioritize work with little or no supervision
  • Demonstrated customer service experience preferred
  • Experience with telemarketing/lead generation preferred
  • Prior experience with CRM systems preferred
