Job Summary

You will provide exceptional service to our guests through event setup, food presentation and table service duties, prep-work and closing tasks, and other duties as assigned to help facilitate a smooth and efficient event service. We are looking for people with a customer-service oriented and positive attitude.

Duties/responsibilities

• Set-up banquet event & bar equipment for events according to the Banquet Event Order event details
• Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed service expectations
• Ensuring the comfort of guests through answering questions, taking orders, conveying special instructions to the kitchen and bar, and serving food and beverages in a positive and accommodating manner
• Maintain professional appearance standards of the events
• Understand and communicate products and service-related query to guests when asked
• Complete proper and timely set-up and execution of Banquet events
• Ensure guest dietary needs are identified and delivered with assistance of the back of house
• Assist with clearing table during and after meal service for empty beverage containers/glasses
• Clean service space including tabletop, floors, and other exposed surfaces when necessary
• Carry bus trays to the kitchen for washing
• Maintain station cleanliness to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
• All other duties as assigned
