Join CACI as a Billing Specialist within the Finance & Accounting team located in our Shared Services Center in Oklahoma City. You will work with other dynamic business units such as Project Managers, Accounts Receivable, Operational Accountants, etc. You will be working in tandem with these collaborative teams toward a shared goal: CACI's ability to provide solutions and services in support of national security missions and government transformation for Intelligence, Defense, and Federal Civilian Customers.

We offer a flexible work environment. Once training and ramp-up is complete, there is three days on-site/two days remote option, OR one week on-site, one week remote.

What You’ll Get to Do:

As an outstanding Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for the preparation of simple to complex project invoices and submitting them to our customers via numerous methods. Specific activities will include:

• Use the Costpoint financial system to create project invoices in accordance with CACI standards and policies.
• Invoice timely and accurately, with invoices being submitted within the specified contract or CACI standards.
• Support of internal, external and government audits as required.
• Execution of SOX controls related to invoicing process.
• Key contributor within the project team for invoicing issues.
• Ability to work within the Billing team and coordinate across CACI with stakeholders.
• Skilled in communicating professionally in all platforms: phone, email, video calls, conference calls, etc.
• Knowledge of FAR, T&M, Cost Plus and Fixed Price invoicing requirements.
• Ability to use COGNOS and Excel on an intermediate level.
• Be on the alert for continuous improvement opportunities within the invoicing process.
• Work independently and with the team to meet objectives.
• Provides advice, training and guidance to less experienced employees.
• Ability to meet or exceed deadlines and prioritize your work accordingly.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of relevant billing experience, but a range of 1-5 years is ideal.
• Some higher education or a comparative level of job experience.
• Work independently and/or with limited guidance.
• Work within collaborative teams.
• Supportive, positive attitude.
• Communicate effectively.
• Fluency reading and writing in English.
• Ability to identify root cause and solve problems.
• Have a mind for continuous improvement.
• Detail-oriented and quality focused.
• Comfortable enforcing your roles and responsibilities with partners.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of government accounting.
• Experience working with government customers.
• Experience working in Costpoint, WAWF, IPP, MPO, COGNOS, etc.
• Knowledge of government contracts: CPFF, FFP, T&M.
• Courses or a degree in accounting.
