Job Description
**Contract is for at least 6 months, but could go for 1-2 years**
**Onsite up to 5 days/week in Basking Ridge, NJ**
Client in the pharmaceutical industry needs a Senior-level Network Engineer for project work involving construction of multiple new facilities and day-to-day/operational work. This resource will be responsible for the delivery of a reliable, scalable, compliant, and a secure client data network. The responsibilities include configuring, installing, and testing network components, including those used for WAN, LAN, network security, and wireless services. Additionally, this resource will also be responsible to ensure that they collaborate on the development, communication, and execution of the client’s network builds as the company expands globally.
Must have:
7 years of experience with network implementations and operations in a 24 x 7 global network
Able to operate independently with minimal oversight
Cisco R/S – installations, configurations
Cisco design experience
Cisco Wireless
Palo Alto firewalls and cloud-based security solutions
Routing and switching protocols (BGP and EIGRP)
Wide area networking and remote access solutions
TCP/IP suite and other common IP protocols (HTTPS, FTP, etc.)
Understanding of ITIL v3 for ticket resolution, incident management, problem management, etc.
Nice to have:
Meraki Switches and Wireless (almost a must have)
Cisco ISE
Infoblox
