JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Engineer III is responsible for providing administrative and organizational support for the Construction Manager and construction activities of Yellowstone, which includes, but is not limited to: correspondence, various administrative tasks, tracking of project deliverables & dates, monitoring deadlines, and providing regular and timely reports.

JOB DUTIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Responsible for maintaining and organizing construction project files, building plans and systems.
2. Create and distribute correspondence relevant to the team and/or project, including meeting minutes and punch lists.
3. Ensure all vendors have proper bidding documents.
4. Coordinate vendor bidding and contracts.
5. Apply for permits as requested/required.
6. Prepare & distribute pre-construction checklist.
7. Coordinate kick-off and progress meetings with clients and key stakeholders.
8. Coordinate punch-lists for all vendors.
9. Attend tenant selection meetings and collect information from tenant selection meeting.
10. Request work orders for construction labor & cleanups.
11. Create RFI’s and maintain logs for projects.
12. Manage the submittal process and coordinate with the Design team.
13. Set up next step meetings with new tenants.
14. Assist Construction Manager in developing schedules, coordinating/contacting vendors, and expanding the vendor database.
15. Assist Project Manager in development of Project Manuals as required.
16. Assist Project Manager in soliciting for, procuring, and qualifying bids.
17. Prepare and analyze budget commitments (sub-contractor & self-performed labor) on a weekly basis and determine budget trends.
18. Assist Project Manager with Change Management, write change orders, and interact with Accounts Payable as needed.
19. Support Construction Manager in various tasks, including:
a. Performing site visits with design team for space fit.
b. Facilitating and coordinating project meetings.
c. Reviewing vendor billing invoices for accuracy.
d. Awarding contracts.
e. Material coordination and procurement.
f. Monitoring job progress.
20. Aid in monitoring safety of vendors and in-house workers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in related field (preferred) plus 6-10 years of experience working in construction administration or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Strong time management and project management skills
3. Ability to proficiently use various Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Plangrid and Smartsheet is a plus.
4. Demonstrated ability to successfully work in a fast-paced environment; ability to multitask is essential.
5. Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage; ability to provide own transportation.
6. Perform all job duties with a positive attitude.
