Owen Health Care is Hiring a Quality Assurance Coordinator Near Vauxhall, NJ

Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for the daily operations, coordinating and supervising agency services including, DDD, DCF, PCA and Substance Abuse/Mental Health Services. The Quality Assurance Coordinator will work with staff members, families, and clients to ensure the implementation and success of all programs. The Quality Assurance Coordinator will assist the Director of Nursing in providing supervision and support to all in-office employees, maintain a leadership role, establish, implements, evaluates goals and objectives of all services to meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the organization's mission and philosophy.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

1. Master’s degree in human services, LCSW, or LCADC required.

2. At least two years of supervisory experience in health care preferable in-home care management.

3. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.

4. Professional demeanor and appearance.

5. Proficient skills to promote excellent client relations and customer skills.

6. People Management skill and the ability to network and manage a team.

7. Excellent organization and time management skills.

8. Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.

Responsibilities/ Essential Job Function:

1. Direct, coordinate, and supervise the operations of all DDD, DCF, PCA and Substance Abuse/Mental Health services including; providing supervision to staff, schedule and organize treatment team meetings, and keep updated records and files for all programs.

2. Ensures that the policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services are implemented and that recommendations to improve performance are communicated to the company.

3. Compiling and delivering frequent progress reports to the Director of Nursing of current programs overview, recommendations for future services, and analysis of overall program effectiveness.

4. Recruiting, employing, and retaining qualified personnel to maintain appropriate staffing levels.

5. Ensuring staff development including orientation, in service education and continuing education.

6. Providing supervision to lower-level staff, including trainings, providing them with guidance and directives, setting performance expectations and goals via quarterly performance evaluations, holding staff accountable for work assignments and responsibilities, monitor staff assignments to identify unsatisfactory performance and provide necessary assistance to address such performance.

7. Responsible for informing staff of any changes, updates regarding service delivery.

8. Assists in-office staff with assigning trainings to all field staff and ensure that they meet all educational/training requirements and standard of care according to organization and state requirements.

9. Participate in and assist with community activities such as health fairs, conventions, and community education programs

10. Develop and implement marketing plans for company’s service offerings consistent with market analysis and implement specific measures for agency growth.

11. Coordinate and facilitate a team meeting to identify service needs and develop individual support plan (ISP) and entering date into the electronic health record (iRecord).

12. Closely monitor and supervise cases assigned to the agency for Support Coordination to ensure new plans are submitted in a timely manner and SC’s plans are consistently reviewed to ensure all renewal plans and MTs are completed and uploaded in a timely manner.

13. Participate in review of ISP plans and facilitates educational workshops, meetings, and other conferences associated with the Support Coordination program.

14. Provide directions and coordination of quality improvement activities such as treatment team meetings, in-service education, and training as required by the agency.

15. Participate in on call schedule.

16. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing in keeping with general requirements of the position
