The Benefits Department at Outreach Community Health centers is seeking a passionate and skilled candidate who is interested in assisting individuals who are applying for State and Federal Health Insurance, as well as Social Security Disability (SSI/SSDI).
Location is Hybrid – A combination of in-person, in the community, and from home.

The Role
As a Dual Benefits Specialist, you will be working with clients that are connected to our clinic, in addition to individuals in the community who are seeking assistance with applying for Medicaid, Federal Marketplace Health Insurance, and Social Security Disability. After joining our team, you will need to successfully complete all required and applicable federal and state consumer assistance training related to the position, however, on the job training is provided. OCHC Benefits Specialists also assess all clients whom they come into contact with for other needs, referring them to other ORCHC programs, as appropriate. Specific emphasis is put on the need to bring eligible clients to ORCHC.
