Overview

Otter Products is currently recruiting for a Chief Operating Officer to join our leadership team onsite in Fort Collins, CO.

The Chief Operating Officer has ultimate responsibility for building and driving the organization's operational functions, while implementing continuous improvement processes to encourage sustainable growth. As key member of the Otter Products Executive Leadership Team, this servant leader will be responsible for leading the Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Fulfillment functions to align with the organizations strategic plan. The COO will model servant leadership and hold team members accountable to these principles and our core values.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Executive Leadership Team and Otter Products Board to align Operations strategies for company growth and profitability and improve overall organizational performance
  • Oversee strategic and operational direction for the organization, creating operations strategy and policy and responsible for aligning with the overall goals of the organization
  • Manage capital investments and expenses to ensure that the company achieves goals
  • Act as a thought-leader for Otter Products Supply Chain and Engineering teams including but not limited to all aspects of design, materials, tooling, manufacturing, logistics, planning and distribution
  • Evaluate existing processes across multiple functional areas and develops efficiencies and performance improvements
  • Track and report on operating results to ensure consistent growth and progress towards achieving organizational goals
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to Operations Leadership Team and effectively direct, plan, execute, and evaluate company initiatives that support organizational strategic goals
  • Inspire and motivate direct reports and operations team members; set clear expectations and articulate individual and team roles in achieving company strategy
  • Develop policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization
  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader in all safety program initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of fifteen years of experience within business operations including experience with the oversight of mechanical design engineering, domestic and international outsourced manufacturing, planning, sourcing, purchasing, and distribution required
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a senior management or executive leader role required

USD $350,000.00/Yr.

For US Based Roles Only - Compensation Range Maximum

USD $450,000.00/Yr.

VP Level - VP and above benefits (no accrual PTO policy), VP Level - VP Growth Incentive Plan, Profit Sharing Program Eligible, Benefits Eligible - Full Time- check out otterproducts.com/careers/why for more info, Sign on bonus may be considered, if applicable, for relocation
