As a Data Intern, you will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to OTR, build your expertise, analyze robust data sets, and contribute to long-term company growth. 

Responsibilities:

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs

• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS or Business (In process)
• Tableau and/or Power BI experience, learning or experience in Python and R 
• Strong analytical/quantitative skills and excellent problem-solving skills

• A dedicated team player who communicates well, is proactive, responsive and can thrive in a team environment
• Advanced MS Office skills (with an emphasis on Excel) and related computer knowledge
• Organization and effectiveness under pressure with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management
