So just imagine where you can take your career! The Otis Service Center (OSC) has an opening for a first shift Warehouse Team Lead. The ideal candidate will serve as a working team leader for the OSC Warehouse. The team leader will work closely with, and support Operations management and supervision. Job Responsibilities: Support and oversee the daily Warehouse operations Assigning daily tasks to Warehouse personnel Ensuring compliance of safety procedures Providing employee feedback, providing and implementing process improvement ideas, as well as assisting Warehouse personnel with any questions. Proactively identifies and actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives Maintains a safe and clean working environment Adheres to PPE requirements, and ensures that employees abide by PPE requirements Ensures team maintains supplies and inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies Performs team leader duties while also performing the hands-on primary job functions, as needed Assists with training new and existing employees Leads, drives, and owns safety initiatives for assigned area and throughout the facility Conduct and play a leadership role in inventories Adhere to the OTIS Absolutes: Safety, Ethics, and Quality Education: High School diploma and 5 years related experience and/or specialized training. A Bachelor’s degree and/or pursuit of advanced certifications is preferred. Experience/Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to translate specific department and broader organizational goals and objectives to the workforce Strong problem-solving, organization, and planning skills Possess a working knowledge of the inventory management and warehouse management systems (SDC), plus various Microsoft software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
