Job Description We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our growing team. You will act as a partner to the business, working closely with stakeholders in the US and Canada, to provide consultation on all people matters, ensuring that HR processes and procedures can deliver business strategies and growth plans. You will work as part of the HR team within the US and Canada region, building capability and capacity of leaders and managers to embed good people management practices and works closely with HR colleagues in the COEs and other regions to deliver an effective and aligned People function. Responsibilities Strategy & Business Planning Work with internal stakeholders to understand the people management priorities (e.g. resource, skills, capability, performance, succession & talent planning) that will drive and deliver business plans, and use this insight to develop effective and innovative HR solutions. Contribute to the delivery of business strategy by helping business leaders to: Identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities, behaviors and people processes, Develop the next generation of leaders and, Improve communication and engagement between managers and employees Identify and review key performance indicators (metrics) with internal stakeholders to support key business targets. Talent & Coaching Work with Functional HR Business Partners and local managers to understand and evaluate the talent and succession needs for their area of the business, and support them to provide effective talent management interventions and career coaching conversations with their teams. Provide advice to Functional HR Business Partners and managers on team structure and job design to facilitate recruitment and retention of employees. Facilitate a strong leadership and coaching culture. Provide expert advice and coaching to managers in all aspects of people management and development. Employee Relations Work with our employee relations policies and procedures, ensuring legislative compliance and best practice. Build the capability of line managers and leaders to effectively manage and own the employment relationship throughout the employee lifecycle, intervening as required manage business risks. Change Management Support leaders with the diagnosis and evaluation of the outputs of the employee engagement survey and with the design of appropriate interventions to improve engagement. Design and implement change management programs to manage the people impacts of business growth and development. General Keeps abreast of HR practices and key trends. Champion and embed HR strategies and participate in wider HR activities to enable cross-function understanding, share best practice, improve ways of working and deliver support. Manage specific projects as determined in the People Plan. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Effective problem solver with strong administrative and organizational skills. 3 years of HR experience in a technology organization. 3 years experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent supporting the Engineering or technology groups. Experience with coaching at the manager level, focus on performance management, employee relations and data analytics/reporting. Demonstrated project management skills and ability to drive programs independently. Analytical and data management skills with the ability to translate data into action plan. Interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
