Osborn Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 0 – 4 Years’ experiencefor our office locationwho will report tothe Manager of Mechanical Engineering. The ideal candidate would have working knowledge of Revit and Mechanical design in the Consulting Engineering environment.

Position Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis, design and documentation of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, plumbing systems, and controls under direct supervision.
  • Perform advanced heating and cooling load calculations under direct supervision.
  • Use the psychrometric chart properly for any HVAC system.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines for all HVAC design elements.
  • Assist in preparation of design deliverables for SD, DD, CD level documents.

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • 0 – 4 Years of experience in Mechanical Design in Consulting Engineering.
  • Knowledge of mechanical design and load calculation software such as Revit, IES VE, HAP, TRACE.
  • Excellent Organizational and Communication skills.
  • Proactive and Collaborative team member.
  • Experience in designing Healthcare, Sports, Commercial, Public Sector, Industrial, Education, and/or Institutional projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering Preferred.
  • EI License Preferred.
