We are seeking a Digital Designer to join the Orvis Team! Orvis is expanding our digital design team in order to meet the demands of digital channel growth. The Digital Designer will be responsible for working as part of the Orvis internal creative department to produce and execute creative concepts for digital marketing and ecommerce. Position Interfaces: The Digital Designer will report to the Sr. Digital Design Manager. The Digital Designer will work closely with digital merchants and digital marketers in articulating their goals and ideas into meaningful digital experiences across multiple channels. Daily interfaces will be with fellow Digital Designers, Content Team, UX, Digital Merchants, Digital Marketers, and Social Media teams. Responsibilities Design and execution of ADA compliant creative concepts for digital marketing and merchandising Creation of marketing assets for use on Orvis.com, Orvis.co.uk, email and social channels Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve ecommerce goals, prioritize deliverables aligning to short- and long-term campaign roadmaps, and help make strategic decisions Competencies and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher 2-4 years of digital design experience Knowledge of web dev skills/tools such as Salesforce, CSS/HTML Experience with fast paced work, rush requests and quick updates Willing to let designs be dictated by usability Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite Strong communication skills Passion and experience delivering great digital experiences Experience with content management systems Highly organized and detail oriented HTML/CSS javascript a plus Passion for the Orvis lifestyle Orvis Company associates take pride in our world-class service and products, treating customers, vendor partners, and each other with integrity and mutual respect.
