Purpose and Job Summary ORIX USA (“ORIX”) is seeking a Senior Analyst to help with the development and execution of the budget, forecast and long-range planning processes. The resource will also assist with executive leadership monthly presentations, Board presentations, financial scenario modeling, operational analysis, cost management and other ad hoc analysis. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Work closely with the business units and departments to facilitate financial forecast preparation Assist with forecast presentations and other executive presentation requests Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual variance and profitability analyses and complete other financial reporting as assigned Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations Provide analytical support to assist with the development of financial plans and various scenario analyses Perform ad/hoc financial modeling analysis using data to drive insights Implement process and technology changes including process development, communication and training Assist with special projects as needed, providing answers on a timely basis to a variety of financial questions Work professionally and harmoniously with team and coworkers Other projects and duties as assigned Contacts This position has frequent contact with all levels of employees and management. In addition, this role may interact with outside business partners, vendors, consultants, and other office visitors. Education, Skills & Experience Required Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year university in finance, accounting, or related field required 3-5 years of experience in a financial planning & analysis, accounting, or finance position Strong accounting/financial modeling and analytical skills Strong verbal and written communication skills that support a collegial and collaborative working style Ability to create and develop complex financial models including management of detailed assumptions Ability to summarize detailed information at a level appropriate for executive communication Flexibility and ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments, and to meet critical and established deadlines; Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously Ability to learn quickly and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team Self-starter, executes with a sense of urgency and delivers high quality results within compressed timelines Enjoys a dynamic, changing environment Creative problem solver Strong financial acumen with a working knowledge of financial statements, financial metrics and KPIs Basic understanding of accounting systems, principles, practices and procedures Able to understand complex transactions and have a desire to learn new processes Sound business judgment and decision making abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and list other relevant systems or software Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion in the performance of daily activities Flexibility and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and constant interruptions; Ability to adjust priorities in a changing environment Preferred Prior experience in public accounting (“Big 4‟ preferred) or Investment Banking Certified Public Accountant and/or Chartered Financial Analyst Advanced degree Experience in the financial services industry ORIX Corporation USA and its affiliates (“ORIX Group USA”) strive to achieve as safe an office environment as possible for employees.
