Purpose and Job Summary The Human Resources Business Partner will execute a broad range of human resources services in support of business objectives and strategies, with the purpose of enhancing employee engagement, productivity, support, and growth of the organization. The HR Business Partner will deliver on both administrative and strategic responsibilities, including, but not limited to, talent management, employee engagement, talent acquisition, company culture, and optimization of the full employee lifecycle experience. They will manage day-to-day HR services for a dedicated business client group and collaborate with other HR Business Partners to deliver support across the organization. This position will be based in Dallas, TX. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supports the business and HR team with the design, development, and implementation of strategic HR initiatives, programs, and processes to deliver top-notch results to support the assigned client groups in achieving their business goals and objectives Provides consultative services to team members at all levels within the assigned client group by effectively supporting employees and managers through various HR matters, process questions, and policy interpretation with accuracy and efficiency Partners with managers and talent acquisition to support the selection of qualified candidates to fill open positions and skill gaps on teams Acts as an advisor to employees and managers regarding employee relations matters. Conducts investigations with confidentiality to identify the root cause of problem issues and provides recommendations and consultation on effective, swift resolutions. Partners with Legal and other HR Business Partners to resolve, as appropriate. Partners with managers in effectively addressing employee performance matters, including verbal coaching, setting remedial goals, and the management of performance improvement plans Partner with the HR Operations team with onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interview processes Promotes a positive work environment and executes strategies that build and enhance corporate culture, which may include total rewards programs, career development, performance development, DE&I, compensation, and more Contributes as project leader or contributor on various committees to support key strategic objectives, as well as business line initiatives, when needed Assists with special projects and deliverables, which may include assignments relative to internal and regulatory audit support, HR metrics reporting, training, and development coordination, change management, organizational development, and other initiatives in support of the business Demonstrates a desire to learn and gain exposure to various areas of the HR function Self-starter who is able to drive projects to conclusion and work effectively with colleagues at various levels of the organization Perform other duties as assigned or requested Education, Skills & Experience Required Bachelor’s degree preferred; concentration in human resources, organizational leadership, or related field, preferred. Three to five-plus years of direct Human Resources practice experience, required Previous experience supporting asset management, commercial lending, banking, real estate, or financial services environments, is desirable Must be detail and action-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness, including the ability to discern change management opportunities Able to remain composed in sometimes stressful situations Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude, and strong knowledge of HR procedures and policies Strong data analysis skills with the ability to prepare accurate reports and presentations Intermediate Excel skills with the ability to clean and manage large data sets create lookups, pivot tables, basic charting, and formatting, etc. Must be comfortable with large complex spreadsheet design and analysis Understand basic statistical analysis, with the ability to identify trends and make recommendations based on data analysis Solid working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, required. Strong project management skills with the ability to develop a plan, identify milestones, etc., and where needed, gain the support of others to bring projects to completion Ability to think critically and synthesize a variety of information in order to be a creative problem-solver Prior experience working with Workday, preferred Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and use discretion Great attention to detail and must be highly organized Ability to adjust priorities in a changing and fast-paced environment Ability to travel locally and out of state, when necessary ORIX Corporation USA and its affiliates (“ORIX Group USA”) strive to achieve as safe an office environment as possible for employees.
