About the Role:

The Technical Project Manager has specific accountability for achieving all defined project objectives within the scope, time, budget and resources allocated and performs the day-to-day management of the project using company and industry methods and tools. You are responsible for leading the activities of assigned Project Teams across multiple geographies, dedicated to managing the services provided to one or more Orion Health clients in software implementation, configuration, process re-engineering and day-to-day inquiry and issue resolution. You will act as the client's sponsor and liaison representing Orion Health to ensure a superior professional relationship and value-enhancing utilization of Orion Health products and services throughout the life of the project.

Some of what you'll do:

  • Responsible for the successful delivery of all projects – to time, quality, cost, and outcome metrics
  • Identify, track, manage, and resolve project and client issues as they arise
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between project scope, resources, and timing of milestone deliverables
  • Production of Statements of Work
  • Documentation – ensuring that all legal, commercial, and operational documentation requirements are complete, up to date, on time, and approved as required
  • Understand the impact of issues on project schedules and scope and managing a positive resolution to same
  • Maintain the client relationship in order to ensure that the projects are successful for both Orion and customers and ensure that the opportunity for Orion of additional business is enhanced.

About You

  • 5 years of commercial project management experience
  • Apply structured implementation methodology
  • Experience in managing and implementing products in product/software development life cycle
  • Managed systems implementation projects; managed to a budget
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of technical and non-technical resources, including implementation, products, service management and release management
  • Successful experience in a healthcare environment
  • Experience in systems, information technology, software, client support and project management and implementation
  • Experience with product ticketing systems, Agile/Waterfall workflow, software release processes
  • Expertise in project scheduling tools such as MS Project, SmartSheets, GoogleSheets, and Jira

Core skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare, related field, or technical related field. Master's Degree preferred
  • Professional Project Management certification eg: Professional (PMP) Certification or similar desired
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting via tools like Tableau is a plus
