The Institute on Development & Disability’s Division of Psychology engages in clinical research activities that seek to understand and improve the physical and mental health of children and their families. Division faculty also supervise psychology trainees in student research activities.
As a Senior Clinical Research Associate this individual is responsible for clinical and administrative research activities related to ongoing clinical research in the IDD Division of Psychology and the Advancing Research in Pediatric Pain (ARPP) Lab.
Under occasional supervision, this individual will coordinate complex, multi-center clinical research protocols/programs and related data management. This individual will contribute to research, assisting with study protocol development and associated procedures that are consistent with internal and external policies and regulatory requirements. This individual will oversee data management on research studies including monitoring research data to maintain quality, and maintaining and submitting data for quality assurance audits and monitoring. This will include eIRB and eCRIS submissions.
The candidate will also apply statistical/analytical methods for data analysis and contribute to/co-author grant applications, abstracts/posters, manuscripts, and assist with budget development and review. Under occasional supervision the individual will create REDCap databases for research studies and conduct participant assessments using quantitative sensory testing. The candidate will also serve as an educator and expert resource for other lab research personnel that may include graduate students, interns, and fellows.
