The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs delegated clinical and administrative duties within the supervising physician’s scope of practice consistent with the CNA’s education, training, and competency. This includes escorting patients to the treatment area, taking and recording vital signs, cleaning chairs, and preparing private infusion rooms. In addition, the CNA assists in maintaining the practice environment in a clean, orderly condition. Functions as an integral member of the Department by contributing to new ideas for improving customer service and reducing costs. Provides high-quality customer service to both external and internal customers that meet or exceed the service standards of the healthcare industry. This duty includes prompt and professional communication efforts, face-to-face customer contact skills, flexible coverage of internal service needs, and the continuous application of process improvement methods and skills for office services.

Experience:
At least 6 months working as a CNA directly in a medical office/clinical setting.
At least 6 months experience working with an electronic medical record. EPIC preferred.
