Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

Oracle Cloud Hardware Team provides a family of tools, utilities, and connectors to manage, monitor and configure Oracle's SPARC & x86 servers used in Oracle Cloud . The key components and tools for management and monitoring tasks are:
- Oracle Hardware Management Pack (HMP)
- Oracle Hardware Monitor (OHM)
- Root of Trust (RoT)
- Oracle Integrated Lights Out Manager (ILOM)

Our unique team works on everything from low-level hardware interfaces to network-facing API service interfaces -- and everything in between. We control the full life-cycle of the software from architecture to release. Help shape the system management offerings for Oracle's cutting-edge systems while working with some of the most talented and experienced software developers in the business.
Job Summary:
The Oracle Cloud Hardware team is looking for an energetic and highly motivated Technical Program Manager to drive delivery of multipurpose systems management solutions to Oracle public and private clouds. As a strong hands-on technical manager, you will collaborate with our development team to define, manage, and drive programs across Oracle Hardware Development, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Engineered systems programs.
The ideal candidate is a technical program manager with very strong hands-on project management skills and 10 years of diverse experience managing the delivery of both software and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizes and drives cross-team and cross-functional activities (meetings, communications, kick-offs, planning meetings, retrospectives, etc.)
- Manage cross functional dependencies, risks and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly.
- Collaborate with partnering teams and vendors to define program requirements, set priorities and establish scope which includes defining the roadmap and long-term/short-term strategy.
- Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
- Drive issues, track tasks, and evaluate priorities on a daily basis
- Develop, manage, and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously against aggressive schedules
- Anticipate, identify and mitigate risk with key stakeholders & impacted teams providing risk mitigations recommendations when needed
- Deliver regular program updates to senior and executive management
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor Degree Computer Science
- 7 years of software/hardware engineering, or technical product/program management, or engineering leadership experience
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects iteratively with multiple dependencies and constraints, in a dynamic and agile environment
- Proven ability to operate effectively and autonomously across multiple teams in situations of extreme ambiguity, with only high level direction, and demonstrate critical thinking, thought leadership
- Able to communicate highly technical problems and solutions at all levels from engineer to partner teams to executive leadership.
- Organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking experience

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)
California Pay Range: from $87,800 to $214,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Colorado Pay Range: from $101,400 to $193,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
New York City Pay Range: from $101,400 to $204,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Washington Pay Range: from $113,400 to $204,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
