Duration : 24 months (Temp to Hire)

Shift : Schedule could be 5pm -3am or 1pm-8pm both shifts will require overtime.

Job Description

The Product Application Specialist is responsible for all aspects of manufacturing The Cynara membranes.

These duties include:

1) Monitoring, ordering, storing, and staging all raw materials and supplies.

2) Operating all membrane manufacturing equipment, including specially designed looms, chemical processing equipment for drying fiber membranes, computer controlled wrapping station and fiber sealers, epoxy molding equipment, fiber patching equipment, QC testing equipment, and packaging equipment.

3) All preventive maintenance required for the above equipment.

4) Unscheduled maintenance when it can be done in house.

5) Coordination of outside maintenance personnel when necessary.

6) Scheduling, organizing, and performing manufacturing activities as required to meet production demand.

7) Working safely and insuring that any contract or outside maintenance personnel also work safely. Minimum job qualifications: Mechanical background and ability to learn operation of all membrane manufacturing equipment.

Ability to perform various basic maintenance operations on manufacturing equipment.

Ability to juggle many tasks and perform them in the most time effective order.

Ability to work with others and help troubleshoot all processes.

Minimum computer skills to operate computer controlled equipment, perform tasks on the company intranet, and manage company email correspondence.

Preferred Qualifications:

5 to 10 years work experience. Some maintenance background. Computer literate. Potential to convert to perm. after a year. Lots of overtime available for this position. Gas and Oil industry is a plus but not necessary, Must have some knowledge on the use of hand tools and power tools, forklift is plus but not necessary, all training will be provided.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
