The primary role includes:

  • Review and assist with creating project accounts in the accounting system.
  • Maintain project-related records, including contracts and change orders.
  • Ensure consistent billing and financial reporting at project levels by following established best practices, including preparing and submitting monthly AIA billing.
  • Review and track project budgets; investigate project variances and submit variance reports to management.
  • Effectively communicate with APM and PM's to determine monthly billing information updates.
  • Prepare and revise elaborate client invoices; support effective client relationships and submit project invoices.
  • Support analysis and report assigned projects' financial information.
  • Work with Field Management on cost projections and expense tracking.
  • Recommend and implement agreed process improvements to the billing cycle.
  • Prepare special project analyses as needed.

Qualifications:

  • HS or equivalent experience in accounting. Associates/some college with a concentration in accounting.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including accounting software.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented

  • Reaching, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Required to sit at a workstation/computer for extended periods and keyboard for large portions of the day and perform repetitive motion tasks.
  • This role is performed in an office environment. The noise level in this setting is usually quiet to moderate (i.e., a business office with computers, phones, and printers, etc.).
