Summary:

We are seeking a Project Accountant, with a preferred background in the Construction industry. We are a highly energetic company and offer competitive benefits. The candidate should have a team player attitude, attention to detail, be a highly motivated individual, and have had exposure to job costing.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
• Compute and record numerical data
• Job Costing
• Check the accuracy of business transactions
• Perform data entry and administrative duties
• Monthly AIA billing submissions on multiple projects
• Managing receivables collectibility and flagging 90 days receivables
• Check deposits and receiving payments
• Process vendor/subcontractor invoices
• Enter contract data in the construction accounting system.
• Update contracts with change orders.
• Monitor open payables to ensure timely approval.
• Provide system support to users concerning Construction and Accounts Payable systems.
• Maintain organized and current project files.
• Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• Experience with AIA billing submissions
• Experience in the Construction field
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong organizational skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
