Job Summary: OPSPro specializes in providing small businesses and government contractors with compliance and operational support to include HR, Payroll, Accounting, Contracting, and IT.
The Human Resources Specialist position is a full-time, fully remote position. The primary responsibility of this position is to perform HR-related duties on a professional level.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Applies working knowledge of HR federal government contracting requirements, OFCCP and DOL mandatory compliance training, E-Verify, EEO/VETS, and AAP, and the fundamentals of the Civil Rights Act and all other federal and state law
- HRIS maintenance and administration
- Provides specialized support for OPSPro client's HR-related programs, policies, and initiatives in one or more of the following HR functions: benefits administration, compensation, employee relations, regulatory compliance, recruiting, performance management, on/off-boarding, employee status change, and leave requests, performance management, and training and development
- Identifies and participates in the administration of HR processes and procedures in partnership with the HR Manager. Develops and/or recommends new policies, practices, and programs to meet management and employee needs
- Ensures new hires are successfully integrated into the HR system, iSolved, and on respective client site onboarding, HR Portals, and status change sites
- Administers, tracks, and responds to employee leave of absence requests, statuses and ensures compliance
- Assists in the preparation and delivery of presentations for managers and employees on a variety of HR-related topics
- Conducts New Employee Orientation when needed and other training programs
- Provides management guidance on employee-related issues such as performance, professional development, employee relations, and terminations
- Maintains knowledge of HR policies and procedures, and state and federal labor laws applicable to assigned areas of responsibility
- Assists HR Manager in creating HR policy and procedure for new and current clients and communicates policy change and able to interpret new policies to employees, managers, and clients as needed
- Assists HR department on other assignments and/or special projects as requested
- Establishes and maintains relationships with internal and external customers
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Strong ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with employees, managers, executives, and clients at all levels of the organization while maintaining extreme confidentiality
- Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, communication and facilitation skills, and solid knowledge of HR-related laws and regulations
- Proven organization skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining timeliness and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Ability to meet goals while working under limited supervision
Required Experience:
- The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 or more years of progressive HR experience
- Federal government contracting industry experience
- Microsoft Office Suite experience
- General HRIS and LMS usage and report pulling experience
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in multiple external client environment
- Working knowledge of Service Contract Act (SCA)
- iSolved experience, specifically recruiting, onboarding, and talent management modules and BI reporting
