What you get to do: 

The Corporate Accounting team is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its Accounting team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for monthly accounting and reporting duties, including the preparation and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and financial statements.

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Assist with the assessment and implementation of new accounting pronouncements
  • Evaluate financial policies and procedures and suggest process improvements
  • Assist with coordination of external audits
  • Assist with expense allocation and consolidation of multiple entities
  • Perform accounting related projects as requested by management
  • Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring transactions are recorded in accordance with US GAAP and internal policies and procedures, including:
      • Preparation of adjusting journal entries
      • Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
      • Perform analytical procedures to understand the drivers behind changes

What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s degree in Accounting preferred)
  • CPA preferred
  • 2 years of experience in accounting and/or public accounting (Big Four public accounting preferred)
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting
  • Proven track record for driving process efficiencies and solving problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and drive them to completion
  • Team player with a strong work ethic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel functionality, including pivot tables, v-lookups and other
