Operation Front and Center is Hiring a National Account Manager Near Garner, NC

National Account Manager to drive long-term profitable growth within the Electrical department of key Retail accounts in addition to prospecting and developing new customer relationships to grow sales! Location in NC, but will provide Relocation Assistance.

The Position Will:

  • Be accountable for achieving sales, profit and budget goals annually as well as meeting strategic objectives within assigned accounts.
  • Develop account penetration strategies for key target and competitive accounts pursuing new business opportunities in brick and mortar as well as online retailers.
  • Work closely with our Business Analyst to monitor program performance within each Retailer and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor competitors and provide insights to marketing and management teams.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing to define program gaps and new market/product opportunities.
  • Prepare presentations for and attend key meetings to review programs, sales results, new product introductions, etc.
  • Develop planogram recommendations
  • Work closely with Marketing Communications and Product Content personnel to ensure consistent and effective in-store and online presence
  • Anticipate customers’ needs, determine appropriate solutions to business problems, and provide an overall high level of customer service
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including customer service, supply chain, operations and management resources in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10 years’ experience in a national accounts manager position
  • Experience with a minimum $20M book of business and a demonstrated history of growing sales
  • Experience with SKU intensive programs (300 )
  • Strong understanding of big box home improvement and co-op retailers
  • A solid grasp of key sales metrics and performance measures
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact and interface with a variety of people at all levels inside and outside the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
