JOB TITLE: DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevOps professional to join our growing organization. In this position, you will manage infrastructure projects and processes. Keen attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and a solid knowledge base are essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various teams within the organization
• Building and maintaining infrastructure written as code
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Identifying technical problems and building a solution
• Working with Software and Quality Assurance engineers to follow best practices
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
• Define and document operating procedures.
• Create and Maintain system information and architecture diagrams
• Testing and examining code written by others

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
• 4 years of prior relevant experience
• Hold DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security CE or equivalent) at start date
• Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth and common security elements.
• Experience developing and deploying signatures (e.g. YARA, Snort, Suricata, HIPS)
• Understanding of mobile technology and OS (i.e. Android, iOS, Windows), VMware technology, and Unix and basic Unix commands
