Overview

Opengate is committed to establishing and maintaining a continuum of services for individuals with developmental disabilities, which include residential, day, home, and community-based services. 

This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of administrative operations of the Day Habilitation program. The Program Manager assists with the direct supervision of the Direct Support Professionals and Lead Counselors and works closely with the Day Habilitation individuals.

SALARY: $65,524.00/YR

Responsibilities

• Ensuring a proper staffing ratio and provide direct care coverage as needed. Responsible for staffing assignments.
• Coaching, supervision and training of staff and Lead Counselors
• Administrative tasks including but not limited to payroll, billing, evaluations, provide oversight of staff’s training efforts in RELIAS, managing some aspects of paperwork / billing in Precision Care, approving outings, etcetera
• Delegate and oversee implementation of programs as appropriate.
• Facilitate and oversee Day Habilitation services, outings and activities
• Organize Day Habilitation routines to ensure that quality, active, on-going, and enriching services are delivered to participants both on-grounds and in the community.
• Assists with training as necessary including, modeling and demonstration of specific curricular programs and behavioral techniques, and conducting staff and program observations

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree, preferably in Human Services
• 3 years of working with a DD population in a day program setting is preferred
• 3 years of management experience
• Strong leadership skills, the ability to team build and influence / shape positive work performance from employees
